چکیده

Mango kernel oil (MKO) contains a large number of symmetric triglycerides, such as stearic acid, oleic acid and palmitic acid. If MKO is used effectively, it can reduce the waste resources environmental pollution. In this study, ultrasonic extraction, composition analysis, in vitro antioxidant antiproliferative activities Jinhuang mango (JMKO) from (JMK) product were studied for first time. The ultrasound extraction yield JMKO was 15.32%. Forty-three compounds their relative contents identified by GC-MS. total content about 95.71%. showed moderate ABTS assay (0.08 mg/mL IC50 value), DPPH test (IC50 value = 0.27 mg/mL). Furthermore, reducing power dose dependent, capacity inferior to vitamin C (Vc), which known be strong agent. When concentrations Vc 11.6 μg/mL 0.29 mg/mL, WA (the anti-oxidation activity) values 2.3 0.502, respectively. against TE-1 cancer cells, HeLa MCF-7 cells (0.43 ± 0.03) (0.83 0.04) (0.27 0.02) results could employed natural antioxidants health care products

Evaluation of the proximate composition, antioxidant potential, and antimicrobial activity of mango seed kernel extracts

After pulp extraction in fruit processing industry, a significant quantity of mango seed kernels are discarded as solid wastes. These seed kernels can be ideal raw materials for obtaining extracts rich in bioactive compounds with good antioxidant properties. The conversion of these wastes into utilizable food ingredients would help in reducing environmental problems associated with processing w...

Antioxidant and antiproliferative activities of mango (Mangifera indica L.) flesh and peel

The antioxidant and antiproliferative properties of flesh and peel of mango (Mangifera indica L.) were investigated. The cytoprotective effect of mango flesh and peel extracts on oxidative damage induced by H2O2 in a human hepatoma cell line, HepG2, were determined, and the underlying mechanism was examined by a single-cell electrophoresis assay (comet assay). Treatment of HepG2 cell with mango...
